New CFO for Hydroline

Hydroline’s management team gets a new member when Joonas Ekholm starts as the company’s CFO on 1 December 2023. Jyrki Paavolainen, who has been our acting CFO since March 2022, will orientate Joonas to his duties during November.

Joonas has a strong background of working in private equity owned companies and especially managing the CFO functions of growth companies in various industries. His previous employers include Ilmatar, Delete, Eltel and Wärtsilä. In addition to successful implementations of business and financial arrangements, in his previous duties Joonas has been responsible for the development of financial organisations and reporting as well as management of liquidity and cash flow.

The expertise and particularly strong background of successful financial management that Joonas brings along with him are perfectly suited for Hydroline’s long-term goals. Jyrki Paavolainen, who worked as the company’s interim CFO, has built a solid foundation which offers comprehensive tools for Joonas to start successfully moving our strategy forward together with the rest of our management team.
