Hydroline celebrates 60th anniversary

In 2022 we are celebrating our 60-year-long journey. Together have grown from a small, one-man’s business to a leading international operator in the field of custom hydraulic cylinders.

Our story began in 1962 when Helge Laakkonen founded a one-man metal lathing shop to the basement of his home in Niirala, Kuopio. It wasn’t until the late 1960’s when Helge hired his first employee to join the business. By the end of 1970’s, the company had already about 10 employees. It has been a long journey, but we have come far from those days. You can find the complete history timeline from our history page here.
